Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL is a widely used, non-selective, fast-acting contact herbicide containing 24% of the active ingredient paraquat dichloride. It is primarily used to control a broad spectrum of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in various agricultural settings, including plantations, orchards, and field crops. It works by disrupting photosynthesis, causing rapid desiccation and death of green foliage within a few hours of application.

Fast-Acting Non-Selective Control: Rapidly kills green plant tissues on contact, producing visible weed-killing results within a few hours to 4 days.
Ideal for No-Till Farming: As a contact herbicide, it destroys only the green foliage (foliar parts), leaving roots intact and protecting soil structure while reducing soil erosion.
Rainfast Property: Gains non-washing properties within minutes of application, ensuring effectiveness even in unpredictable weather.
Inactivated in Soil: Being cationic, it is rapidly adsorbed and inactivated upon contact with soil, which prevents it from harming upcoming crops (no residual soil activity).
