Dinocap 48% EC is a non-systemic, contact-acting acaricide and fungicide primarily used to control powdery mildew and mites in various agricultural crops. It acts as a dinitrophenol-based uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation, disrupting respiration in fungal cells and causing rapid "knock-down" of powdery mildew infections.
