Imazethapyr 10% SL (Soluble Liquid) and 70% WG (Water Dispersible Granules) are highly effective, selective, systemic herbicides primarily used to control a broad spectrum of grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges in leguminous crops such as soybeans, groundnuts, pulses, and green gram.

These formulations act by inhibiting the ALS (acetolactate synthase) enzyme in weeds, which blocks the synthesis of essential amino acids and leads to the death of the weeds.
