About Iprodione 25% + Carbendazim 25% WP
Iprodione 25% + Carbendazim 25% WP is a broad-spectrum, combined wettable powder (WP) fungicide designed for the control of a wide range of fungal diseases in agriculture. The combination of a contact fungicide (Iprodione) and a systemic fungicide (Carbendazim) provides both preventive and curative action, making it highly effective for protecting crops like paddy, fruits, and vegetables from severe infections.
Key Agriculture & Pesticide Benefits
Broad-Spectrum Disease Control: The mixture is highly effective against a wide array of fungal pathogens, including Botrytis (gray mold), Sclerotinia (rot), Alternaria (leaf spot), Fusarium, and Rhizoctonia.
Synergistic Action: The combo uses two different mechanisms to attack fungi. Carbendazim disrupts cell division (mitosis), while Iprodione inhibits fungal spore germination and mycelial growth, reducing the risk of resistance buildup.
Preventive & Curative Efficacy: It not only acts as a barrier against new infections (protectant) but also works systemically to treat existing infections within the plant tissues.
Increased Crop Yield and Quality: By protecting crops from devastating diseases (like Sheath Blight in rice), the fungicide ensures healthier plants, which translates into higher marketability and profitability.
Versatile Application: It is suitable for use as a foliar spray, a seed dressing to prevent soil-borne diseases, and a post-harvest dip to prevent storage diseases
Key Agricultural Uses and Crops
Rice (Paddy): Highly recommended for control of sheath blight.
Fruits (Grapes, Citrus, Stone Fruits): Effective against Botrytis bunch rot and post-harvest decay.
