About Ametryn 80% WG

Ametryn 80% WG is a selective, post-emergence herbicide used primarily in sugarcane and pineapple to control annual broad-leaved weeds and grasses. It acts through both foliage and soil absorption, inhibiting photosynthesis. It is applied early post-emergence, usually when weeds are at the 24 leaf stage.

Crop Protection: Specifically designed for sugarcane and pineapples to protect early growth stages.
Target Weeds: Effective against grasses and broad-leaved weeds like Digitaria sanguinalis, Dactyloctenium aegyptium, Cynodon dactylon, Trianthema monogyna, and Ageratum conyzoides.
Mode of Action: Contains 80% active ingredient as water-dispersible granules (WG/WDG) that disrupt photosynthesis.
Application: Applied at the 24 leaf stage of weeds.

Dosage: Approximately 1.0 kg/acre.
Compatibility: Often compatible with 2,4-D amine salt (1 L/acre) for a broader spectrum of control.
