About Imidacloprid 18.5% + Hexaconazole 1.5%

Imidacloprid 18.5% + Hexaconazole 1.5% FS is a high-performance, combination seed treatment fungicide and insecticide (Flowable Concentrate for Seed Treatment) designed to protect crops from early-stage soil-borne pests and fungal diseases. It is primarily used as a, systemic, "dual-action" solution, meaning it kills insects and prevents fungi simultaneously.

  • Dual-Action Protection (Seed & Soil Health): It combines an insecticide (Imidacloprid) to control insects and a fungicide (Hexaconazole) to combat fungal diseases in one application.
  • Rapid Systemic Action: The formulation translocates quickly through plant tissues, protecting the emerging seedling from both insects and fungi.
  • Soil-Borne Pest Control: Highly effective against termites, white grubs, thrips, and jassids.
  • Fungal Disease Management: Controls diseases like collar rot, stem rot, rust, and Tikka leaf spot.
  • Improved Germination & Vigor: By reducing early pest and disease pressure, it ensures healthy and uniform crop establishment.
  • Yield Enhancement: Studies on groundnut have shown that this combination significantly increases yield by protecting plants from early-stage mortality.
  • Convenience: The, Flowable (FS) formulation makes it easy for, on-farm seed treatment and ensures, uniform, coating
  • Commonly Targeted Crops & Pests/Diseases:
    • Groundnut: Termites, White grubs, Thrips, Jassids, Collar rot, Stem rot, Tikka leaf spot, Rust.
    • Wheat: Termites, Aphids, Smut, Rust.
    • Other Potential Crops: Cotton, Maize, Paddy (used for seed treatment)
    • Dosage: Generally used at a rate of 200 ml per 100 kg of seeds.
    • Method: Seed dressing using a closed mixing drum or, concrete mixer to ensure each grain is uniformly coated.
    • Waiting Period: Not applicable as it is a seed dresser.
